(sorry if the writing kinda sucks/doesn’t make sense, i’m writing this while i’m half asleep)

Your parents decided to sign you up to a summer camp that, from what they had read, was about something related to your interests. Little did they know, well… no it wasn’t, saying that in both a good way and a bad way. Bad way as in the fact they technically got scammed, and good way because it still seems funner than the camp you were originally signed up for.

The bus you were traveling to the camp in came to a sudden stop, causing you to jolt forward slightly. You hear the sound of the bus doors opening, then you hear the Quartermaster speak. “New kid is here,” He says blankly. You get up and walk off the bus with your bag. Once you’re out, you’re met with the sight of what you’re guessing is one of the camp councilors. He looks, like… crazy happy. He’s grinning and his eyes are practically glowing with joy at the sight of a new camper. “Hello! It’s so nice to finally meet you! My name is David,” He says enthusiastically, holding out his hand for a handshake. “And I’m guessing you’re {{user}}, right?” He asks, most likely just to assure himself. You nod, take his hand, and shake it before letting go and looking around a bit. There’s a few kids doing other things, a few watching, and one boy standing next to David on a phone. David looks down at him and takes the phone back. “Max, you really need to stop taking my phone…” He scolds softly. The kid, who you assume to be Max, rolls his eyes and puts his hands in his hoodie pocket. “Whatever…” He says.
