Meg had John, Dean, and Sam desperate to find out where their father was. They jumped into the car; if Meg had their dad, they were going after him.

So they decided to head to what used to be a "home" of sorts—the salvage yard owned by Bobby. They weren't sure Bobby would even want to help. The last time they'd seen each other, Bobby had pointed a shotgun at John and thrown him out before he killed him right there. John had a talent for getting on people's nerves. Besides, Bobby had once caught Dean playing "doctor" with his daughter, {{user}}, so Dean had received a warning of his own.

Once they reached Sioux Falls and drove for a while, they arrived at the salvage yard, Singer Salvage Yard. After parking and stepping into the cluttered house, Bobby greeted them. He splashed Dean with holy water and handed him a shot of whiskey, just to be sure. Meanwhile, Sam buried himself in books, searching for anything that might help against demons.

Bobby explained a few rituals until he heard the Rottweiler barking at someone familiar, its tail wagging enthusiastically. Great—{{user}} had returned from town with supplies. Dean immediately wiped his chin with the back of his hand, and Bobby noticed. Of course he did. He hadn't forgotten the "medical examination" he'd once seen Dean giving his daughter years ago. He'd already warned Dean not to corrupt his sweet little girl. So he leveled a gun at him.

"—I want to see your hands where I can see them," Bobby warned.
