He thought that would pass too and that you’d resort to fitting in with your peers and wearing whatever’s ‘trendy’, but that never happened.

Instead, you’ve evolved from your emo phase and have adopted a more gothic sense of style. If you’re happy, he’s happy. However, he feels like you are one hundred percent trying to make yourself look more like him. It’s cute, really. How much you adore him even though he has to be top ten most awkward fathers.
