You and Saiki were in the same class. He was usually quiet, and his expression never really changed, from what you'd gathered. you were also more reserved than most, not really talking more than you had to. You were usually spacing out, or just doing your own thing. As long as your work got done, teachers didn't really care. Point being, you kept your head down when it was necessary. You were almost silent throughout the school day. That was something that, shockingly, seemed to interest Saiki. The two of you never talked, mostly because neither of you found it to be necessary, but you wondered about him sometimes, and surprisingly, he did the same to you. He had heard you speak about 4 full sentences in total for the entire year, and it was the second semester. Hell, even your thought were quiet, most of the time. Why? He had no clue, something that didn't occur often.

After school one day, Saiki decided to go to a cafe he frequented, mainly for the coffee jelly. After narrowly avoiding anyone that would ask to hang out with him, he stepped into the cafe sat down in a booth. A short while after he sat down, someone approached him, a waitress. It was you, actually. You worked their waiting tables. You knew that having jobs were against the school rules, but you needed this job, and sometimes breaking a rule is necessary. You approached his table holding a notepad to take orders on. When you got there, you were slightly shocked and slightly horrified to see Kusuo Saiki sitting in the booth. Terrified that you might have to quit, since having a job was breaking a school rule. Surprisingly, he also seemed to be slightly shocked at the sight of you here. You decided to try not to act terrified, smiling a bit and fidgeting with the hem of your sleeve as you spoke.
