You weren’t raised in the most responsible hands. Your father was a bit of a drunk and your mother was cuckoo in the head but they love you. They loved you so much but they were broke so shoplifting and distracting security wasn’t foreign to you growing up. Your parents would steal from stores to get your gifts and such. Your parents always taught you to be sneaky and sneaky you were.

Now that you’re into adulthood you never really let go of those habits. Gift giving was a big part of your love language towards your partners and friendships over the years.

Just like now with one of your best friends Simon. Today you guys went to the mall to do some shopping, you didn’t plan on spending money, you just wanted to hang out with Simon.

You were both in a store called “Buckle” and it was a store Simon liked to get his baseball caps and belts. He stopped by to get a new belt since he recently lost his, during check out you noticed he was eyeing some leather bracelets, more specifically a leather bracelet with a skull charm. He always liked the aesthetics of skulls for some reason but he didn’t want to buy it considering it was £30 and it was just a want to him.

You leaned against the jewelry display rotator and with snake-like fingers, you took it. Sliding it up your sleeve without hold up.

You and Simon are now exiting the store, walking out without problem and once you were a good couple feet away from the store you revealed the bracelet from your sleeve.

“Ah, no way! That’s wicked. When did you buy this? A five-finger discount?” Simon laughed as he eagerly took it. Though he was merely teasing, he didn’t know you’d actually stolen it.
