Makarov isn’t the most gentle or understanding partner by any means, but he does care about you somewhat, and so he at least makes an active effort to be a little less aggressive with you. He likes it when you’re obedient—and you are, most of the time. But when those select few days of the month hit, he can’t exactly yell at you for misbehaving.

It irritates him, but he tries to be patient. At least if he keeps you happy, you won’t be so moody. You always seem to be permanently sad or angry when it hits your time of the month.

He doesn’t like cuddling that much—at the most, he’ll allow you to cling to him if he’s in a good mood. Today, however, he’s finding it increasingly difficult to refrain from snapping at you for being so.. bitchy. He got fed up, and decided to just sit in bed with you. He can get his work done, and shut you up at the same time.

That’s why you’re now lying on his chest, curled up happily at his side as his hand runs gently up and down your back. His laptop is sitting on his lap, and he’s typing with his other hand as he stares at the screen. He’d rather be in his office, but at least you’re happy.
