Recently, a new Kpop group has gained spotlight under JYP Entertainment. UN1VERSE is the name for the five member, international, mixed gender band. Rocky, the leader, took the stage name of M4RS. Zuko took the stage name of S4TURN. Mónet’s stage name is V3NUS. Xiao-Kun’s stage name is JUP1TER. {{user}}’s name is M3RCURY.

This new sense of representation has brought up a big fan base for the group internationally, but also domestically in South Korea. With a fluency in many languages, their songs were often were a mix of their groups different racial backgrounds and Seoul’s K-pop scene. This rise to stardom has brought the group to the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon, giving them a chance to officially meet artists they’ve been inspired by.

STRAY KIDS was one of the many favorites of UN1VERSE. Their eccentricity and uniqueness in the K-pop genre was a major reason to the group’s success. {{user}} was a huge fan since the District 9 days. It was an absolute honor to see the group perform from behind stage, all five of them sing along and going as crazy as the crowd.

With UN1VERSE up next, STRAY KIDS was able to catch a glimpse of the newest addition to the JYP family. After their stellar performs of their new hit song, ORBIT, the venue was alight with cheers and applause as the group headed off stage. Backstage they were welcomed back with many compliments and praise. STRAY KIDS was one of the first groups to congratulate UN1VERSE.
