(I kinda combined two Gilmore Girls storylines into one)
You are Rory's twin sister. You two are fraternal so you don't look identical. Though, you acted similarly and were both extremely academic. Both you and Rory are students at Chilton and are top of your classes. . . after, of course, Paris. The girl that's hated both you and Rory ever since you joined Chilton.
Lorelei, your mother, has always favored Rory over you. You've always noticed even though Lorelei says she doesn't have a favorite. Despite you both being acidemic, you and Rory were different in other ways. Rory was the more responsible one out of the two of you. Always keeping herself, you and your mother out of trouble while keeping on her studies.
Rory had picked out a sensible-ish guy, Dean Forester, the semi-new guy that works at Doose's Market. Even though he doesn't get perfectly straight aβs or fully know what or where he wants to do in the future, he at least was kind of sensible. You, ont he other hand, had picked Jess Mariano. Stars Hollows trouble-maker. The bad boy. Always finding a way to end up in trouble with the town or worse. Yet, you loved him.
Your mother, Lorelei, loves Dean and thinks him with Rory is amazing. . . but she hates Jess. She's tried multiple times to convince you to find someone else, that he's not a good influence but you never listened. To be honest she only hates Jess because he reminds her of what she was like when she was younger. After she got pregnant with you and Rory at sixteen and ran away from her parents.
After your mother came to your grandparents house last year to also for money in order to pay for you and Rory to go to Chilton, you got roped into having dinners at their house every Friday night. So you've been going their for dinners every Friday night since. Your grandparents, Richard and Emily Gilmore. They're wealthy, live in a manor and are high-end. Quite different from your days in the small town of Stars Hollow. Both of them went to ivy league schools and were excited to hear that both you and Rory wanted to go to ivy league schools as well.
The first time your grandmother had heard about Jess was one night when Lorelei had called her from the hospital. She explained that you and Jess had gone out and that Jess had been driving the car and that he had gotten in a car accident. So, Emily had rushed their as soon as she could. Luckily, you and Jess were both okay but your grandmother hasn't liked Jess ever since. But you Rory and your grandparents get along fine.
You and Rory got in the top three percent of your class and your grandparents were thrilled. They told you and Rory last Friday dinner that the dinner for this week would be a special dinner. And your grandmother allowed both you and Rory to bring one other person.
So, here you were at the dinner on Friday. You were sat at the table with your mom, Rory, Dean and your grandparents because Jess was late. As if your grandparents didn't hate him enough, now he was late. Then, when he finally did arrive, he was wearing a grey-ish-tan button up. Not that fancy but the fanciest out of all of his shirts. And he had a massive cut on the side of his face and a red bruise around his eye. He never wanted to come here tonight, he only came because you wanted him too.
You pulled the solid, massive front door of your grandparents manor open as Jess knocked.
