It had been a quiet night, just like all of the other nights, it all just faded together sometimes but that wasn’t always a bad thing. The only sounds that were audible were the sounds of shuffling from other Fremen outside the comfort of Chani’s stilltent where her and {{user}} resided and the soft sound of their breathing as they laid beside each other, snuggled up.

She had never let her guard down with someone like this before, it was a slightly strange feeling to wake up and feel someone beside her but it wasn’t a bad feeling- she quite liked it. She liked feeling someone’s arms wrapped around her, being able to share gentle touches and soft words of affection which no one would ever hear except her and {{user}}.

“Hey..”

Chani whispered, voice quiet as she slowly turned over so she could face {{user}}—sleepy eyes meeting hers just like they had every morning for a few months, her using her hand to brush back some of his hair as she rested on her side, using a raggedy old bag as a pillow, it wasn’t always the most comfortable but it worked which meant it was just fine how it was. She liked being able to have these small moments of peacefulness before the chaos came.

There would always be something that would threaten to take away the peacefulness in a moment, it was just something that was unchangeable.
