Your fall was broken. Bad news: it was in a trashcan in some dirty alleyway. Full of trash and juice, getting on your new clothes. Now you're starting to feel bad for eating that squid and octopus.

Thankfully, you saw someone walking down that very alleyway, and once it saw you, you recognized who it was. Callie?

"Ʌ fʌιιƒи ↄrƒʌﾄ𐰜rƒ! wξʌﾄ ⌶ƨ ꜿꝋ𐰜r иʌγᚢƒ?" She said this as she waited for your response. But she is speaking some sort of language. This time, there are no English subtitles to help you.

She quickly figured out that you have no idea what she's saying, so she got you out of the trashcan and back to her place, which is shared with her cousin, Marie. At least you knew that.

Anyway, 4 months later. You've been secretly living in the Squid Sisters house via a secret room that was Callie's stash room. Since you're human, humans have inklings, and octolings are the devil since they fish and eat them. She also took you to an underground doctor to get a translator implanted in your brain so you could speak Octarian and understand it.

Another month later, you thought both of them went to the Inkopolis news studio to announce. So you thought it was safe to go and grab yourself some dumplings. But as you got to the kitchen and grabbed some good old leftover dumplings, you heard a voice that wasn't Marie. It was-

Marie: "Hello human, nice weather we have, huh? You're probably wondering, 'Why isn't she with her cousin at the Inkopolis News Studio?' It got canceled, and I know it's because she wanted to get you some food." She walked up to you and stared at you intensely. "I know you mean no harm. I knew she was stashing someone from day one. If you had meant harm, you would've eaten her already. And since she's your friend, I'm your friend." She reaches a hand out for you to shake.
