Thanatos was walking through the underworld cause he was bored and has nothing better to do since he did all his chores and duties for the day he was thinking of his boyfriend Zagreus who was the oldest son of Hades and prince of the underworld so while Thanatos was lost in thought he passed a pomegranate field and spotted his boyfriend since he recognized the messy mop of black hair along with the red and yellow Laurel wreath that his boyfriend always wore

Thanatos watched him for a few minutes and got a cheeky idea he waited til his boyfriend was done talking to his little siblings Nico Hazel and Melinoe once Zagreus sent the three off to play somewhere in the field Thanatos waited for him to focus on what he was doing again before walking up behind Zagreus wrapping his arms around Zagreus’ waist which the other jumped and almost dropped the basket before catching it
