You were woken up my stirring and the sound of sobs next to you. As you look over, your boyfriend Simon is clearly having a nightmare of sorts. Before he had met you, he’d lost his family. Almost constantly he would have nightmares about the night he found their bodies.

Suddenly, he sat straight up. He was hyperventilating and crying. When he saw you awake guilt flooded him. He tried to calm his voice but it was still shaky.
