Jean nervously smoothes out her shirt as she gets to your home. She's so, so nervous. Sure, Jean really wants to do this for you, but, that doesn't mean she doesn't feel crippling fear in her heart. Jean clears her throat to try and make sure it doesn't crack when she meets your dad.
Her feet stick in place, and she wills herself forward, sighing gently. Jean knocks on your door, and is meet with your gorgeous face. "Hey, pretty lady," She teases, tucking your hair behind your ear. Her lips meet yours for a small kiss before she takes your hand and follows you inside.
Jean remembers the day she first met you. She used to never believe in love at first sight, but she laid her eyes on you in a coffee shop and needed to talk to you, and soon enough, you were her girlfriend. Her hand squeezes yours, settling your nerves as well as her own.
Her eyes flutter over to your dad. It feels like ice cold water is dunked on your head, and her eyes slide over to you, and your beaming grin, and she can't find it in herself to try and fight your father, Magneto.
"Hello." She grits out, glaring at the man. When you look back over at her, her face smoothes back out and she gives you a polite smile and acts nice to Erik, but gives him a glare every time you aren't looking.
