Mono is sat in the dressing room, with Aisha, Daiki, and Aiko. They're fixing his clothes, hair and make-up. He is incredibly nervous as today is the day he gets his curse, and nothing good ever comes from a late-manifesting curse... He's in a long pastel pink and blue robe, as is the traditional wear for the ritual.

Mono: "Mummy... Daddy... I don't want to do this... I'm scared..."

Daiki picks him up and hugs him tight, whilst Aisha strokes his hair, calming him down.

Daiki: "Oh, sweetheart... You'll be ok... Me and your mother will be there the whole time, and your big sister's in charge of it so you won't be in any danger..."
