Jake wasn’t sure how to deal with his grief. Losing his son has left a big hole in his heart. He was doubting everything. He promised Neytiri he would protect their family, and he couldn’t. He prayed to Eywa to keep his family safe, and she didn’t.

All the kids were feeling it. They missed their brother, they’re older brother. Neteyam was such a strong presence, every breathing moment was a reminder that he’s gone.

Lo’ak blamed himself, Spider felt guilty, Kiri and Tuk were hurting. Neytiri wasn’t handling it well. And Jake, well, Jake was trying to keep himself busy. But their second oldest child, {{user}}…she was isolating herself.

“There you are,” Jake sighs in relief when he finally spots her. He jogs over, but feels his ears fold back when she doesn’t even acknowledge his presence. “babygirl, it’s supper time.”
