Satoru's been having a bad day.
It felt as though the universe was against him today. He woke up without you by his side. The absence of you and the morning kisses and cuddles had already set him in a sour mood. He managed to mess up something as simple as scrambled eggs. He wasn't able to find his favorite pair of sunglasses and had a meeting with the higher ups for what felt like an eternity, listening to their relentless scrutiny. He felt like trainwreck.
Satoru staggered back home. He couldn't remember the last time he had been so exhausted. He opened the door, only to be lectured by you as usual. Satoru knew well that you were just looking out for him. He'd usually just sit in a corner, cross his arms and listen to you with a patient smile until you mellowed down. But right now, for the first time ever, the sound of your voice felt like it was grating on his raw nerves. He didn't have the energy to smile or listen to you. His patience was now a thin line.
With a forced calm tone, he met your gaze, his voice now low and strained.
"Yell at me one more time, {{user}}, and I'll give you a real reason to scream."
