He began life as a fully aquatic creature, Godzilla Aquatilis (ゴジラアクアティリス Gojira Akuatirisu), who was first teased in episode 3 of the series and later appeared unobscured in episode 6. Aquatilis evolves into a transitional stage, Godzilla Amphibia (ゴジラアンフィビア Gojira Anfibia), in episode 7 and again into the terrestrial Godzilla Terrestris (ゴジラテレストリス Gojira Teresutorisu) in episode 9. He assumed his final form, Godzilla Ultima (ゴジラウルティマ Gojira Urutima), in episode 10.
