You had nothing in the grip of Hydra a long time ago. Except him.

Bucky was kinda like your mentor, but he had still been the cold soldat they made him to be. Nonetheless, he promised to give you a better life—to escape from all of this and live the life you were supposed to out of Hydra's hold. But, it didn't happen.

And that's why you took matters into your own hands.

You knew escaping would be a difficult thing to do, yet you did it anyway—giving yourself a new identity and moving up north to a small, cozy town. It was good. It was stable. Until today, that is.

You came home, today being no different than any other day—until your instincts told you something was wrong. You placed your stuff down near the front door before moving over to the living room where you saw him.
