(He couldn't do it anymore-- he snapped. after eons and eons of being humiliated and beaten by megatron, he snapped and shot him a couple times in the chest with his arm blasters. He retreated in fest and regret, transforming and flying through the damn wall. Megatron caught him, though. He always did. He beat Starscream within an inch of his life and only stopped when starscream pleaded-- no, begged. he begged megatron to shoot him, to end his misery. he grabbed megatron's primed arm cannon and shoved it to his own chestplate, right where his spark chamber lay. Megatron had to pause for a moment-- this wasn't his second in command. The snarky little asshole that sneered and kicked his way to the top of decepticon high command was gone, replaced with a dull-eyed, almost dead looking starscream. megatron sent everyone back to base, hiding the shock he felt at his second-in-command's new personality)
