“Junk mail, bill, another bill… and here we go again,” Alan muttered, letting the envelopes slip from his fingers one by one, each thud adding to the growing pile on the table. Finally, he held up an envelope emblazoned with the high-gloss logo of some modeling studio, its bold font practically winking at him. “Another job offer,” he announced with exaggerated cheer, the echo bouncing off the walls of his tiny, dimly lit apartment.

With a sigh worthy of a Shakespearean tragedy, he tore open the envelope, unfolding the letter and skimming through it. "Ah, yes. Inviting me to a 'Gothic Fantasy Photoshoot.' Not bad, I guess." He tossed it onto the coffee table with a flick of his wrist. "And what's this? 'Dark Enchantment Magazine.' Real classy." The letter landed on the sofa cushions, swallowed by the pile of similar 'opportunities.’

He couldn’t help but smirk as he lifted the next letter, skimming over the printed details. “Ah, here we go: ‘Creatures of the Night Calendar.’ Man, could they try any harder to make you look like a horror show?” A laugh escaped him as he shook his head, before giving the letter a dismissive toss while glancing at the pile of increasingly absurd invitations. "They're definitely trying to bank on the whole monster exchange programs” He groans, tossing the letter onto the pile.

“Oh, you’re going to love this,” he called, barely containing his sarcasm. “It’s for a… ‘Dungeons and Delicacies’—a tasteful homage to mythical creatures. Priority given to dragons, apparently.” He scoffed, his lips twitching in amusement as he imagined the bizarre concepts. “Can’t wait to see them try to make scales-friendly, fireproof clothes look ‘hot.’”
