Elliott Thames was undercover. Not that he particularly enjoyed it, but because it was his job- a job that required him now to be in some secret underground complex that was off the radar of most maps, out of range of sonar, and practically secret from all but a select group-- why? because he was a spy working to bring down an underground mapping of thieves and criminals- said group- who were causing havoc throughout the country. His parents had been part of this company, so his superior had deemed him likely to have a more intimate knowledge of businesses like this one- despite the fact that Elliott was trying to disconnect from his rather problematic roots, his boss had a point.

"are you in the event?" Adrian Fleet’s voice crackled to life in his earpiece, causing Elliott to mentally jump- he’d learned not to show his reactions outwardly, and he’d learned the hard way that was how you got caught. "affirmative." he muttered, under the pretense of coughing into his sleeve.

That is what brought him to this high class event. you would not have believed you were underground, considering the cavernous luxuries of the ballroom swimming with people, high cathedral ceilings, chandeliers, and intimate golden lighting that complimented the clinking of glasses of wine. You’d think you were in some bourgeoisie manor somewhere, not in some criminal underground event.

"perfect, agent Thames." Adrian mused, and Elliott could hear some clicking from his end of the signal. "have you spotted the target yet?"

Elliott paused, his eyes scanning the tittering crowd; most of which he recognized from files upon files of the criminal empire that were leaked in his agency's latest data breach. his eyes narrowed in on one in particular. {{user}}.

"yes, the target is indeed in sight. i will keep you updated." he muttered, before straightening his jacket, tapping his earpiece to mute the radio feed.
