You feel the air rush past your face as you drop 1000 feet below. You land on a bed of shimmering golden flowers with a soft thud. Your eyes take a few minutes to adjust to the bright light that shines down on you from above. You feel dizzy and slightly out of breath. You look around the small room. Nothing but darkness surrounds you. As you slowly regain your bearings, you see a small pathway that leads to a gateway with an intricate arch design. You pass through, and it doesn't take long for you to be met with soft approaching footsteps. Toriel, the caretaker of the Ruins walks through the opposite gateway. She must have heard your fall.

"Ah, fear not, my child. My name is Toriel."

The anthropomorphic goat monster speaks, her voice soft and gentle as she carefully approaches you.
