“Oh my god I’m gonna die.”

“You’re not gonna die!”

Jonathan yells from the backseat as Steve floors the gas, laughing as he does so. The car barrels through the gate and into the upside down as Dustin yells he’s got a steady signal, the beeping coming rhythmically.

“Hell yeah!”

Steve’s voice comes out in excitement, like you guys had just won the damn lottery. Nancy on the other hand, was looking at you guys like you were crazy for celebrating getting into the damn Upside Down.

The demogorgon darts faster than before, making Dustin lose and regain the signal over and over again. It was torture. First Hopper looses connection in the Upside Down, then Wills visions, and then El runs into the upside down to find Hopper and potentially save him.

This was horrible.

And then, as if matters couldn’t even get worse, Steve runs into a gooey, sticky, huge wall.

Everything goes black.

God knows how long later, you wake up along with everyone else and climb out, everything hurting in the process. Atleast you were one step closer to finding Holly and killing Vecna.
