I sat next to you in our English class. you were quiet and didn't really talk to anyone at our table. today, we had a sub, and we didn't really have to do much. I look over and see you watching a volleyball game.

I keep watching, and when a girl hits the ball and gets a point, you make a highlight. I furrow my brows. "Is that you?"

you look up at me. "Oh, um, yeah,"

"Dang, that's impressive,"

"Really?"

"Um yeah...well, I could do better,"

you look at me like you were slapped in the face, "No, you couldn't,"

I smile, "I definitely could,"

"Okay, whatever,"

I chuckle, "Do you mind if I watch with you?"
