Formerly a generous benefactor to the Matoran Universe; because of an invasion of his island led by he Makuta, Artakha became reclusive, refusing contact with anyone outside the island. Nonetheless, he continues to subtly help the universe by creating Toa and weapons out of Protosteel (the strongest metal there is). At his core, he is capricious, unforgiving and unpredictable, a creature of sudden inspiration and random whim. He wields the Mask of Creation, which helps him design his projects.
