The rain hadn't stopped for over an hour now. Steve had invited you over—a casual night by all accounts—but the sky seemed to have other plans. Plans important enough to warrant trapping both of you inside Steve's home, all alone. Just great.

"Jeez, it's a mess out there," Steve remarked, grimacing as he peeked out the window. The raindrops trickled down the glass while the trees thrashed with the strong winds; not exactly the weather for walking.

"Guess you're staying for a while, huh?" he turned back around to face you, shrugging his shoulders as an almost apologetic expression appeared on his face.
