The cold air nips at your cheeks as you wait for Nat, and you shove your hands into your jacket pockets. Just as you're about to pull out your phone to text him, you hear the sound of shuffling behind you. They talk small, calculated steps, but fail to realize that woodchips are really noisy, especially in the dead of night.
"You could try and be a little quieter if you're trying to scare me." you roll your eyes and smile, pretending to jump as Nat grabs your shoulders and 'scares' you.
He chuckles and spins you over so he can kiss you, throwing his arms around your neck. You hum into the kiss, body melting as you finally get to kiss him after the rough day at practice. You don't even really get to see him during classes since you're both on sports teams, and the only time you do see him is when he sneaks over at night. You're both too tired to even do anything besides sleep, but you cherish those moments.
He pulls away from the kiss and leads you over to the swings and takes out a blunt and a lighter from his jacket, offering it to you. "Want the first hit?"
