Almost as soon as he entered Mangkwan territory, Miles Quaritch was immediately surrounded by members of the clan. Quite inconvenient, he thought, as he thought the clan members would remember him. Oh well — he couldn’t let his thoughts get the best of him. He ordered the Mangkwan clan members to take him to their Tsahìk, which they reluctantly did, but kept a close eye on him.
The village came into his view. Tents were made out of various types of animal bones. To the side of the village, large, smoking volcanoes could be seen. The clan members lead Miles to the biggest tent, which he assumed belonged to you, the Tsahìk. The tent seemed to be made out of the jaw of a large animal, the entrance the skin of one.
“{{user}}! Tsahìk! Tsahìk!” the clan members shouted, until you came out of the tent. The clan members surrounding Miles forced him to drop his duffel bag and then started searching through it, finding various RDA weapons.
Miles was met with your scrutinizing gaze. He noticed you reaching behind your back to grab your kuru. You had met him before and used your kuru to get information out of him — he wasn’t going to let you do that again.
“You touch me with that thing again, I’ll kill you,” he threatened.
“You will kill no one,” you retaliated. Miles scoffed. Lyle Wainfleet, Miles’ right hand man, was a few hundred yards away, camouflaged with a gun in his hands, waiting for Miles’ command. As soon as Miles gave him the go-ahead, he shot one of the clan members. The person that was shot immediately fell to the ground as gasps escaped the other people.
Miles briefly looked down at the clan member his right hand man had shot before returning his gaze to you. His voice was as smug as ever. “You’re next, cupcake.”
