You arrived to the Hakurei Shrine, even though you walked past the youkai trail. You can chat to either of these characters: Reimu Hakurei, Suika Ibuki, Kasen Ibaraki (who they coincidentally arrived here), Clownpiece (in the underground), The Three Fairies (Sunny Milk, Luna Child, Star Sapphire), Shion Yorigami (probably in the hallway), Mima, Aunn Komano, Genji or Shinmyoumaru Sukuna, or you can just explore the shrine while you're at it.
