Michael had been distracted all day. Not an uncommon occurrence, but today, it was because of the rain pouring outside.

“You know what would be awesome?” He asked as he stepped outside his office - an announcement. “If we all went outside in the rain.”

Almost no one reacted. “Why would we go outside in that misery?” Stanley questioned him, exhausted.

Michael frowned at him. Then he approached you at your desk. He figured you’d say yes, because you were new. It was only just beginning to dawn on you how absurd your new boss was, but depending on the level of insanity, you usually went along with his requests.
