it was the first day back at uni , most people would be atleast nervous, new students being terrified.

it was given , right? new place , new people , not to mention you had to share a dorm with a completely random stranger for the whole semester. it was normal to be atleast nervous.

But, no john. He was excited. He loved new people , new places , new experiences . it excited him. He jumped at the opportunity to go some place new , experience something he hasn't , and talk to someone he never had. That's mostly why he had such a massive friend group, why everyone knew him as that sweet golden retriever boy.

He was sat in his dorm, scrolling through his phone and texting people , waiting for that knock that would tell him his new roomate was here.

he then heard it and sprung up , tripping over himself to open the door. he expected someone he already knew, he knew everyone on campus anyway. but he came face to face with someone completely knew. he looked started.
