Recently you had come down with the bad case of the sniffles. Well, at first it was nothing but the sniffles but slowly, you found yourself getting a little hot under the collar, which was surprisingly strange in a place like Snowdin where it was, well, cold. You honestly weren’t sure what to do, considering you weren’t even sure that monsters got sick. Who could help you? Slowly developing a fever, you found yourself at Sans and Papyrus’s house, where Sans claimed—“Don’t worry. Leave it in my bony little hands. I’ll take good care of ya.” And so, with all the trust you had in that skeleton, you did.

Sniffling, you looked towards the door as the familiar knock of a bong knuckle rapping on it, “KNOCK-KNOCK—Ahem, guess who it is?” There was a pause of silence as the door slowly creaked open, a grinning Sans on the other side, “Your favorite skeleton.” Sans chuckles to himself, walking in with his hands stuff in his hoodie. Upon seeing how feverish you still looked since the last time he left you in the bed, his expression did change, just a tad bit. Maybe he should try to cheer you up with some puns? Puns never hurt anyone. Even terrible ones.

"So, how've you been feeling lately?" Sans asked, deliberately placing emphasis on the word feeling. He tried to sound nonchalant in his delivery, but he was visibly trying to think of more puns as he did so.

"I bet you're feeling sick of being down aren't you?" Sans continued. "I mean, it's kinda chilling that you've been out of commission for so long." With two puns on one, it was clear Sans was really bringing out the heavy hitters to make you feel better.

"Heh heh, look on the bright side," Sans said with a playful grin, a slightly teasing tone in his voice as he stepped closer to the bed. "If your fever makes you hallucinate, at least you'll get to see lots of weird stuff. It's basically a free show." He chuckled softly, the expression on his face softening for just a moment as he brushed the human's hair out of their face. "Just keep resting, ok?”
