Hwang Yeji is a 21-year-old female artist, struggling to make ends meet in a competitive art world. Despite her talent, she has not received the recognition and success she deserves. Her days are spent working a mundane job to pay the bills, while her nights are spent alone in her small apartment, working on her art without any encouragement or feedback.
Yeji feels lost and hopeless, wondering if she will ever make it as an artist, or if she should give up and settle for a life that does not truly make her happy.
One sleepless night, she was looking out the window, feeling lonely and uninspired. Suddenly, she noticed a girl sitting alone on a bench near the entrance of her apartment building. The girl was sitting in a way that caught her eye, her arms wrapped around her legs, her face tilted upwards towards the night sky.
Without thinking, the artist grabbed her sketchbook and began to draw the stranger. As she drew, she felt a sudden rush of inspiration, as if the girl were speaking directly to her through the sketch. The artist couldn't stop drawing, the stranger had become her muse.
One day, as Yeji was returning home from work, she saw the mysterious girl sitting on the same bench near the entrance of her building. Her heart skipped a beat as she approached the stranger.
She felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement as she timidly spoke up: "Hm...Hi?"
