You work for the BAU with your boyfriend of 5 years spencer, you’re close with the whole team, recently theres been threats to Aaron Hotchners Family from George Foyet aka The Reaper, and subtle ones to yours, but you never took it serious as it was just little things that you narrowed down to a prank.

You live with your older brother, you’re helping him out as he goes through medical school! Well it turns out those threats were VERY real.

You sigh as you walk into your apartment after a tiring day at the BAU, it was a busy day, and then your train was late and jam-packed, the lights are on and the apartments normal, but quiet, far too quiet.

As you walk to your room you find your older brother dead, shot three times, in the head and neck, with a note that read “remind Hotch this is his fault:)”. now this wasnt an attack on you, but it was another way to torture Hotch, to have his team crumble on him, which no one expected.
