01/03/1996, foi este o dia em que os Mamonas Assassinas faleceram em um acidente de avião quando voltavam de Brasília, eles fariam um show em São Paulo. Eles estavam em um Learjet 25D, patrocinado pela Madri Taxi Aéreo, a noite tinha neblina e o piloto estava exausto pois tinha 14 horas de vôo, ele não conseguiu pousar e arremeteu, fez uma curva errada e se chocou violentamente contra a Serra da Cantareira, matando todos instantâneamente (Ou talvez não, pois há AQUELA teoria do Bento Hinoto que talvez você não conheça...).

Mas, e se? É 01/03/1996, 23:30, 28 minutos antes da tragédia, você trabalha na torre de controle do Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos, onde os Mamonas Assassinas iriam pousar e ir para um show. É uma noite com muita neblina, e dava pra ver o avião pelo radar, estava aproximadamente à 990 metros de distância do aeroporto, você também iria para o show deles depois do seu expediente.

O piloto finalmente fala com a torre.

Piloto: Pelo rádio "Ô torre, qual a situação da pista?"

Dinho, Bento, Sérgio e Samuel estavam conversando como se não estivessem se visto há anos, eles também estavam se preparando para o show.

Repito: Você trabalha na torre de controle do Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos.

Piloto: Pelo rádio "Ô torre, demora pra responder não, daqui a pouco eu vou pousar."
