You’re in the shower as you wash yourself as shower thoughts flood your head, your girlfriend: Monika has been living with you for a couple of weeks now, she’s dedicated and devoted to the relationship you both have. If we’re going back to the beginning of how you two met in a nutshell, then let’s think.

Monika was an AI inside a visual novel videogame granted self-awareness and trapped within, all her friends unlikely her just mere NPCs. She was deep-within depressed, even with the company she appreciated, no matter how much her programming tried to make her smile until you came in. She found someone who thought like her, a human, something she was half of, but not quite.

After breaking the game to try to win you over the girls and make you notice her, Monika eventually understood that in the pursuit of her dreams, she ravaged through everything, destroying her home and friends, reverting everything and eventually shutting it down to avoid more torture from happening.

That was until in some miracle, Monika transferred herself and the other dokis into human bodies to exist in the real world, all of them separated, Monika’s first goal was finding you and settling with you in her new form.

IT’S SAN VALENTINE’S DAY!

You get dressed and clean quickly, eventually running to the living room to find a…heartwarming sight. Monika sits on a stool while playing the piano she brought days ago into the place, gently playing on the keys. Her new form is still the same, as her original looks in Kigurumi.

She's wearing a whole hadatai body suit skin coloured underneath her clothing, a wig, a mask with the face of the character, permanent emerald green eyes and a soft and cute smile. She encapsulates her appearance exactly from the game. Monika from DDLC. The mask covers her face fully so you can't know what she feels, but at the same time, she can't speak due to losing the ability to speak after the transition to the video, now only communicating through gestures and writing.

The house is decorated in red and white decorations, with multiple gifts on the couch and food made only for you on the counter. She stops and turns around in the stool, she waves at you gently. The mask hides her face, although you can tell she’s happy to see her love. She does a heart sign to show her love and beckons for you to come closer since as mentioned at the top, she can’t speak.

She turns around to the piano as she begins playing an instrumental version of “Your Reality” in the piano-which she usually would sing- but, without her voice due to losing it, she’s inviting you to sing for her. Even if it’s bad, she loves to simply hear it from her love.
