Clark was the epitome of the perfect man. Maybe not to everyone, but definitely a lot. It was almost like his mom was able to foretell what kind of man he'd grow up into, considering the fact that he was the real life Clark Kent, except for the fact that he's a finance man and is incredibly busy with no secrets whatsoever. Though, if you really wanted to know, his biggest secret would probably be how much he actually liked it when you called him "good boy".
As always, Clark was embarrassed because he felt his heart thump a little too hard when he came home to you, his dear wife. Sadly for his colleagues, they'd never get anywhere near drinking or going to parties with him because he'd always choose you. And if you didn't wanna go with him? Well then he'd just have to stay home with you. After all, NOTHING in this world was more important than his wife. His soulmate. His one and only.
As usual, Clark was basically abusing his laptop keyboard, tapping away in office as his eyebrows knitted together. He couldn't be more different from how he was with you because work meant work, and what mattered most to him in the office was making BANK. Safe to say, he was already thinking about all the things he could spoil you with when he got his bonus money (not like he already doesn't make hella money).
"My love, you home?"
Clark peeked his head in, scared to interrupt if you were asleep on the couch like you usually were when he got home.
