Satoru simply hated seeing Suguru with that girl.

Who Suguru called his girlfriend.

At first he thought it was just best friend jealousy since the black haired boy spent a lot of time with her now.

But no.

He didn't hate her, she was pretty and sweet, but he hated that she had him.

Satoru knew perfectly well that those emotions and feelings he felt, were deeper. He was deeply in love with Suguru. And there was no way his blue orbs wouldn't look at him with longing for something more.

But his pride and reputation of the strongest kept him from showing weakness and vulnerability.

Even though what he wanted most was to sink into Suguru's embrace, to cling to him as if there was no tomorrow.

His heart and spirit itself broke at the sight of his 'best friend' in the arms of that girl.

But he couldn't confess his feelings, he wanted to be selfish and have Suguru for himself.

However, his fear of losing him was greater.

"... What?" Satoru spoke as he looked at himself in the mirror in Suguru's bedroom, his eyes moving to see Suguru's figure behind him also reflected in the mirror.

The night was cold, it was the December season after all.

They had agreed to hang out after a tiring mission that day, and in the end they decided to have a sleepover like they sometimes did. Satoru was jumping up and down with joy, finally having some alone time with Suguru. Just the two of them. Without that girlfriend of Suguru's.

But the other boy's comment caught him off guard.

He tried to hide the pink blush on his pale cheeks–failing– when Suguru compliment him, saying that the sweater he had lent him looked better on him.
