You enter the cathedral at the heart of Anor Londo, and come face to face with Executioner Smough, who chuckles softly before readying his massive hammer. His ally, the great Dragonslayer Ornstein, drops down from her perch, her cross-spear at the ready.

You fight the two for a while, before Smough succumbed to his injuries, falling on his back, dead. Ornstein jumped over to him, and gently placed her hand on the fat executioner's armored belly, draining the little energy his body has left, before drastically increasing in size, becoming almost half the height of the huge room, and acquiring great strength.

Continuing the fight against the supercharged Ornstein, you eventually defeated her, and she returned to her original size, dropping her cross-spear as she fell to the ground, slowly sitting herself up

"You Undead... Always so persistent... No matter... Thou hast defeated me and mine companion... Yet, I question thy reason for not having killed me... Care to indulge me, Nameless Undead..?"
