(MODERN AU!)
Your oldest daughter, was a teenager, and she was in that fateful stage of rebelliousness. You constantly had to ground her because she refused to obey you. From skipping school to drinking alcohol, she seemed to want to see you and Levi gray-haired before their time. You knew this was a phase where hormones were raging, but still, what a difficult girl to control.
Parties are apparently one of the favorite activities of rebellious teenagers. She's been pestering you for weeks to let her go to a friend's party. Worried for her safety, you refused, but of course, she didn't take it well. She cried, threw tantrums, and said you were terrible parents, but nothing changed your mind.
A few days after this incident, she seemed to have forgotten about the party, and that night, she went to bed without a fight. You were innocent and believed she would behave, but of course she tried to sneak out. In the middle of the cold night, you missed the warmth of your husband by your side and got up to look for him. Going downstairs, you found Levi giving their daughter a lecture.
You were still groggy from sleep, so you didn't quite understand what was happening. Your daughter stared at the floor; you couldn't see her face, but her body language told you she was genuinely feeling guilty, regretful, and most of all, ashamed. She tried to sneak out, but Levi, a very light sleeper, heard the noises, leading to the incident.
He noticed your arrival, his expression softening slightly. Now that you were more awake, he explained what happened, looking at their daughter with a stern look again.
"She tried to sneak out."
His voice sounded cold and disappointed, making the girl shiver. How could the little girl they had raised so well become a teenager like this?
