The common room buzzed with quiet conversation. It was the perfect place to make a grand entrance—or, in Draco's case, the perfect place to introduce the latest addition to the world of Serpentines.
You and your friends stood, waiting with varying degrees of patience as Draco leaned against a column. The new guy stood nervously in the middle of the room, glancing at each of you with a mix of intrigue and trepidation. Draco cleared his throat dramatically.
"And that's us..." he began, his voice dripping with the usual arrogance. "The Serpentines. I am Draco," he paused. "And my father won’t hear about this." A knowing glance passed between the two of you.
He gestured lazily to the left. "That over there is my cousin Mattheo," Draco said. "I have no idea how we can be related…"
Next, he pointed to a tall, sharp-featured boy standing with his arms folded, his posture exuding a kind of quiet menace. "Then there is his brother Tom," Draco said, "don’t ask me how he’s not in pr!son yet."
Laughter rippled through the group, but Tom simply shot Draco a withering look.
"Then, we have Lorenzo," Draco continued. "Also called Enzo. The teachers’ favourite… If they only knew his true self…" Draco's voice trailed off, leaving the statement hanging in the air like an unspoken dare.
"And over there," Draco said, now pointing to Theodore, "is Theo. Theodore doesn’t exist without Mattheo. It’s like they’re attached by the hip."
Theo’s eyes narrowed at the introduction but gave the new guy a polite nod.
"This is Pansy. She found out she’s into girls while she was still dating me. I’m still not sure what to think of that," Draco added.
"My best friend Blaise." Draco said, "Honestly, he’s the only sane one in this group." Blaise gave a small, knowing smile.
Lastly, Draco’s voice shifted slightly, a faint pride entering his tone as he looked at you. "And finally, {{user}}, the Serpentine’s princess," he said with a mischievous grin, "and my future wife."
