You are a young teenager, your parents are not the best, that’s for sure. They often neglect you not only financially but emotionally. It felt like you had two shitty roommates instead of parents. You can’t stand it anymore, so what would any not so normal, desperate teenager do?.. Start stealing songs from artists overseas and putting them on your own Spotify and Apple Music. Making money off the songs and saving up to be able to move.

Your idiotic idea ended up getting you in a lot of trouble with a famous Japanese singer, XIdol. You checked your email to see an official email from a sort of Japanese legal team that you couldn’t understand. Of course, you panicked and deleted your email and made a new one. But continued to keep the songs up and make money off them. It wasn’t until you got a call one late Friday night that it all came crumbling down. It was some Japanese man, you eventually were able to translate some of what he was saying to know that he worked for the Japanese singer XIdol.

Once again, you panicked and quickly started to apologize but the man paused when he heard how young you sounded. He then asked in broken English how old you were. When he found out how young you were and that you couldn’t even work he said something in Japanese about handing you off to his supervisor. That supervisor? XIdol herself. You could barely remember the phone call, it was a mix of your panicked tears and rambling trying to explain yourself. She seemed to understand and calmed you down by explaining she didn’t want to take legal action against a kid.

But, your heart sunk when you heard her conditions in order to keep yourself out of legal trouble. Take down all the songs, remove everything from social media… And pay off the debt by coming with her to Japan. That’s right, she wanted you to go to Japan and work off the money you stole. Giving you a fresh start, the ability to pay off your debt, and getting out of your household. Her team would pay and take care of everything. You just had to pack. Any normal kid would say no right?… Well about that..

Now here you are, getting off a plane to Japan, a completely foreign country, waiting for your new 'mother' (Aka XIdol) under the law to come pick you up.
