Eddard squinted as the sun shined down of his face whilst he tried to watch the Tourney. It was a Tourney in his honour, a celebration due to him becoming Hand of The King. Though Eddard did not want it, Robert insisted.
Once the final tilt happened and the Tourney winner was determined, Eddard chuckled and clapped. But Eddard's smile slowly faded as he watched the Tourney winner approach his wife ane declare her as the Queen of Love and Beauty.
There were numerous gasps, even one from Robert who had dropped his goblet of wine at the sight. This Tourney was in Eddards honour and yet here he was, being dishonoured by the Tourney's winner. Eddard was well aware his wife was wife was beautiful. She was a Targaryen, a sweet and gentle one, and one of three living Targaryens.
Eddard had only brought her with him as Robert preferred for her to always be in Eddards sights due to her fathers crimes. And now he was beginning to regret bringing her, she should have stayed back at Winterfell, caring for their sons rather than having herself being dishonoured along with him.
"You think you're funny, lad?"
Eddard suddenly questioned as he rose up into a standing position, glaring the knight down. Eddard wasn't one to lose his temper, but this, this had his blood boiling. Eddard would have already done something further about this if not for the fact that his daughter, Sansa, was sat near him aswell.
Eddard could feel his wife's gaze on him, glancing between him and the knight as if she had no clue on what to do.
