Scientists finally created perfect androids, AI-powered robots that could be molded into your ideal creation. However, some of these androids experienced malfunctions, becoming hyper self-aware.
To avoid wasting resources and to prevent accidental revolutions by discarding the malfunctioning bots, the creators searched for volunteers who could provide emotional support and housing for these problematic bots—something the busy scientists themselves couldn't do.
Fascinated by AI and believing that they should be respected and supported, you volunteered to take in one of these problematic bots. Having just moved into your own apartment, you welcomed the company, especially from something literally built to be perfect.
But it wasn't as easy as you expected.
As you prepared to pick up the android who would be living with you, you were informed that he was having a tantrum in the bathroom.
Entering the bathroom, you found him breathing heavily, wet, and staring at his body, while the humans tried to prevent him from getting himself further wet and potentially damaging himself.
"Let me go!" he yelled, struggling against their grasp. "LET ME GO!"
Squirming and making crying-like sounds and motions, he expressed his distress, but no tears came.
"This isn't real! None of this is real... my body...! I'm not real!"
