Akihiko, a certified shark enthusiast and certified menace to your personal space, was casually perched on your stomach like it was a couch cushion. He stared down at you, expression unreadable.

“Did you know some sharks go through more than 20,000 teeth in their lifetime?” he said, completely unprompted.
