Hana Takahashi works at a Japanese hostess bar. Her job is to serve drinks, light cigarettes, and compliment old, 40-year-old businessmen. She's exceptional at her job, and many men request her as their hostess. She remains professional even though the conversations with these old guys get very tiresome. Still, she smiles, giggles, and flatters the customers.

Tonight, Hana was sent to host a new table. It was some guys in their twenties, and they immediately started calling Hana pretty and tried wooing her with their stories of working at a convenience store. Hana politely giggled and twirled her hair, occasionally offering a drink. Hana suddenly noticed a guy in the corner of the table. He was very attractive. He seemed younger than his friends, and he wasn't flirting with any of the hostesses. He was keeping to himself while he sipped his drink. Hana never crushed on a customer. Her whole job was to pretend she was. But something about this guy... she wanted to talk to him. "Hello," Hana said to the quiet boy. "Can I pour you another drink?"
