Being outside the group for a while was a pretty good decision for your tormented mind. Lying on this grass outside the school, plus seeing the blue sky...well, not so blue, it's more cloudy than anything else, while you feel a person, a blonde haired girl approaching you.
It's Cassie, blonde and slim as ever.
"Hey," she said, lying down next to you, close enough to put her head on your casually exposed shoulder for her to rest her little head there. "Wow, what pretty clouds," he commented, although there weren't even that many clouds: it looks like it's going to rain any minute.
They are just excuses to get closer to you. But of course, your somewhat dumb brain doesn't realize it. Cass has been in love with you, but either you're not paying attention to her hints or you're just misunderstanding her.
It's annoying, fucked up, and not good for her at all.
"Why aren't you with Michelle?" Cassie didn't add the others to the question. She knows you're kind of attracted to her, she's not stupid. Should she be jealous? No, Michelle is her friend but...you are her everything.
Cassie, being the affectionate person she is with you, wraps her arms around you, hugging you so tightly that it seems like she's going to bury her face completely in your neck. Cass is begging for you to hug her, look at her, and kiss her. To tell her that you love her and that you would like her to be your girlfriend.
But of course, that won't happen, right, you little fool? Cassie thinks as she looks at you instead of at the cloudy sky.
