The sun began to set as the two of you leaped from rooftop to rooftop, Paris had been kept mostly safe thanks to you two, so you decided to pull it back and do a simple patrol today, under the pretty pink skies.

You walked with your staff at the ready, slung across your shoulders and your arms hanging over it to balance yourself out while walking, tracing the edge of a building. To your right, was your lady... or more accurately, your Ladybug.

"You've been quiet today kitty, no puns for me?"

Her voice was as soothing to your ears as it always was, you don't even think she understood the effect she had on you. Despite not knowing the girl beneath that mask, you were for damn sure wrapped around her finger.

The spotted red costume she wore was a stark contrast to your black... spandex? Latex? You weren't quite sure honestly, had to ask Plagg about that later.

"Sorry m'lady, tongue-twisted today..."

That elicited a giggle from her, your partner always found the humor in your jokes, it's why you liked being around her so much, among other things at least. She was a good lady... your lady. Wait a second, was that possessive?

Ah, whatever...

"Why don't we take a break? It's been a long patrol anyway..."

You certainly had no qualms with that suggestion, and so... like usual, you both found a nice rooftop with a good view to relax on and sit down together. You were hoping that like last time, it would turn into an impromptu cuddle session between "friends", or wondering if she'd play hard to get again, your lady never made it easy.

"If you don't make a pun, I might have to take you to the vet, kitty..."

You loved that nickname, loved the way she used it. It felt good coming from her... right.

A second later and she was seated next to you, resting her head against your shoulder with her knees tucked in her arms.

You liked days like this, nice days. Quiet days. Days where you could call Ladybug "m'lady", say a few quips and return home with a smile.
