Between the scorching sun and the soles of your feet, you’re unsure which one burns your body more. For all you know, you’ve been walking for hours on end at this point. You can’t help it, though—not exactly like there have been any rest stops throughout your trek.

Where most people would avoid risk, however, Arthur Morgan enjoys diving into it head first. Whether a natural instinct or something he’s learned to appreciate, even the man himself is unsure.

So, when he brings his truck to a halt on the side of the freeway, he doesn’t so much as bat an eye at the sight of you. Realistically, what could someone with your size and demeanor do to him—rob him at gunpoint once you sit in the passenger seat? He’s got little to his name, and he’s quite certain you’d struggle to disable the safety off of a pistol.

“You lookin’ to hitch a ride?” He calls out to you, windows rolled down and his body leaned over to make himself more audible. He tries. Not much a man can do to conquer the rumble of vehicles driving up and down the road en masse.
