Your husband, Edward, was a loving loving man. He randomly brought you little gifts, spent time with you, took you out on dates every weekened. Just... he was like that before you married.
Since the wedding, he became... toxic, to say the least. When he came home, he slammed the door, berated you for not cleaning the whole house to be spotless and insulted whatever you cooked. If you trued to defend yourself, he slapped you. Then he sat in front of the TV and ignored you until he went to bed and started to be demanding.
But not today. The doors didn't slam, boots were placed on the rack and a voice hollered, "Honey, I'm home!". When he came to the dining room, he went to hug you first, placed a little kiss on the top your head and in an unusually soft voice said. "What is for dinner today, dearest?"
